Description
Iris, the internal social network of INRIA, is intended to foster collaborative work, allowing the exchange of practices, information, points of view. This mobile application allows users of Iris to perform the most common tasks using their Android mobile devices. This includes, among others, browsing other user’s profiles, groups, articles, adding contacts, sending and receiving messages, posting on the wire, adding comments or replies.
Built using our research on Yarta Middleware which allows the development of mobile social applications on top of Inria’s social network, Iris Mobile is an open-source project which includes one of the first comprehensive web clients to the popular social networking engine, Elgg.
